This Boreal 44 is now located in Fredrikstad.

When the first Boreal 44 was launched in 2009, it was nominated for "Yacht of the Year". With its innovative solutions and detailed individual equipment levels adapted to the long-distance sailor, Boreal is today considered to be the best yard in the long-distance segment. The Boreal 44 is the smallest boat in the shipyard's model program, but it has the same solutions as the larger models.
The yard wanted to build a solid boat that sailed well, it should be comfortable in the sea and for anchor, as well as light and maintain and use.
The boat's "dohouse" with an integrated chart table is unique for a boat of this size.
The boat is built with a keel that can be raised to only 1.02 meters depth and lowered to 2.48 meters depth. This provides good sailing characteristics, but also greater opportunities to enter shallower water if desired.
The designer has designed an ergonomic cockpit with 2 protected seats, where you can also stand without being exposed to weather and undress and undress relatively protected.
The cockpit provides a good view for the helmsman when sailing and manoeuvring.

The boat we sell has sailed around the world, but today sails along the Norwegian coasts. It has Norwegian owner and the boat is possibly the most sensibly equipped of all Boreal 44 in the world.

New on board 2024:

New Nanni N4-60 – 60 hp with turbo. Purchased and service reviewed by Engelsesviken Slipp.
Assembled june 2024. New approved cooling water hoses.

New battery spring 2024.

New packing box and new shaft as well as overhauled propeller in spring 2024.

New genoa scrolling system. Fitted spring 2024. New fall to the genua and new fall to the spinnaker.

Big sail and genoa as well as lazy jackets have been serviced in spring 2024. Service man says they will work well for many more years.

New bow thruster and switch panel is installed in spring 2024.

Drawn NMEA 2000 wires between autopilot and doghouse for future modification of navigation instruments.

New hydraulic pump and hoses for autopilot are installed in spring 2024.

A new water pump will be installed in the summer of 2024.

New mattresses with a top mattress in the spike.

Cockpit roof covers are overhauled and reinforced as well as impregnated with kevlar wire.

Boreal 44 is a boat with a keel with depths between 1.02 meters and 2.48 meters that allows you to enter the vast majority of ports.
She has an ergonomic cockpit with 2 well-shielded exterior benches behind the wheelhouse (dohouse).
Boreal 44 has a comfortable doghouse where you sit inside and have full control over everything outside both at sea and at port.

Water 760 liters through 2 tanks on either side of the centerboard in the middle of the boat.
